Sufjan vs. Pitchfork

Sufjan Stevens

I don’t think I’ve made any secret of my love for Sufjan Stevens’ music. Simply put, I think the guy is one of the most talented and thought-provoking singer/songwriters out there, effortlessly blending his art and his faith in ways that has all sorts of people talking.

Pitchfork recently posted an interview with the man, asking him about the art/faith issue, performing live, and his ambitious “50 States” project. And when you’re done with that, check out this older interview, courtesy of Delusions of Adequacy. And when you’re done with that, go buy some of the man’s stuff.

You won’t regret it.
