Pitchfork interviews Low’s Alan Sparhawk

Pitchfork has a pretty extensive interview with Low’s Alan Sparhawk that covers their current tour, Zak Sally’s departure, his nervous breakdown, and more: “Believe me, man, there are people who are going to have way more troubles mentally than I am. It’s not so much embarrassment about it; I think it sounds like such drivel when a person talks about his mental health. Other than acknowledging that there’s a problem that’s more common than people realize, it doesn’t mean the end of the world. We all know people who have worse fates. What do I have to complain about for Christ’s sake? I have a beautiful wife and kids, and all this music, kids are paying my bills.”
