William Orbit’s Latest

Aurgasm has posted a couple of MP3s from William Orbit’s new album, Hello Waveforms. I have no problem admitting that I really like Pieces in a Modern Style (and all of you purists can go piss off) and still listen to it whenever I need to relax (or get over a migraine). The two tracks aren’t quite as somber or contemplative as those on Pieces in a Modern Style, but Orbit’s synth sounds are just as lush and drifty as before, and this time mixed in with acoustic guitars, programmed rhythm, and vocals. Altogether, warm, sun-streaked music that’s perfect for a cold February day (like today).
