The Scott Pilgrim teaser fills my soul with joy

My day began in a pretty crappy way, but the recently released teaser trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World has made everything better.

I could go on and on about how well the movie appears to have captured the look and tone of the comic, how absolutely perfect the special effects are, how the battles are completely cool in their silliness, or how I haven’t seen better sound effects since Adam West was Batman.

However, everything I want to say can be summed up thusly: thank you, Edgar Wright. Thank you so very much for this.
