Reasons to Rejoice

It’s been a good week, and it’s only half over. It’s been awhile since I can honestly say that I’m looking forward to what the next day brings.

I’m doing some creative work that I’m actually pleased with; it’s been a long time since I’ve done design work, and those muscles needed stretching. My band goes on the road for a bit next week. I just found out that Opus had a record number of vistors last month. My insurance payments got cut in half (more money for CDs and DVDs!). I just watched Shaolin Soccer, which gets my vote for best kung fu sports comedy of all time. And I finally got a copy of U2’s The Unforgettable Fire, one of the best things they ever did.

Life is good, and it’s the little things that make it that way.
