Just finished uploading a new batch of Cornerstone 2002 photos (and yes, more are on the way). And while you’re in a photographic mood, ExitZine has a bunch of really sweet ones. BTW, if you’re putting up Cornerstone photos, let me know so I can link to it.

It’s amazing what a difference a different perspective (and some air conditioning) makes. As I sat going through all of these photos (and many more that I didn’t scan in), as well as watch the video I shot (which I hope to be sharing with you soon), there were some really amazing moments. I’m floored everytime I watch Rosie Thomas and Woven Hand, Roadside Monument and Unwed Sailor are absolutely beautiful, and Ester Drang makes you forget you exist (to paraphrase a friend).

But while I was at the fest, I just couldn’t forget how absolutely miserable I felt due to the heat and humidity (in fact, my sinuses are still feeling the aftereffects). There were some things about this festival that left a bitter taste… but still there were many that I’m only now able to remember and really appreciate.

Once I get most of the photos out of the way, expect reviews, journals, and other articles to filter onto the site at a measured pace (as well as some goodies, hopefully).
