“The Nightingale” by Death Coast (Twin Peaks Cover)

A haunting witch house cover of that Twin Peaks ballad.

So now that “witch house” is a thing, I can’t say that I’m all that surprised to hear that there have been not one but two witch house compilations inspired by the music of Twin Peaks. The genre’s eerie atmospherics and creepy rhythms seem just as appropriate for the show’s murky yet evocative soundscapes as, say, Mount Eerie. Which brings us to this haunting cover of the “The Nightingale” by Rome’s Death Coast, which appeared on Phantasma Disques’ A Witch House & Okkvlt Guide To Twin Peaks.
