Little Radio

A few weeks ago, I was pimping 3Hive as a great source for new music, and today I’m going to pimp another one — Little Radio, a cross between a web radio and an MP3 blog. A quick perusal of their playlist reveals a pretty solid slice o’ indie. In the last half hour or so, they’ve played The Walkmen, M. Ward, Of Montreal, Stars, Death Cab For Cutie, Spoon, and Bloc Party.

And thanks to them, I’ve discovered a brand new artist that has piqued my curiosity — Red Sparowes, a project featuring members of Isis and Neurosis, and which is filling my desire for some blistering instrumental fury quite nicely. Unfortunately, the track that I heard on Little Radio, “The Soundless Dawn Came Alive As Cities Began To Mark The Horizon,” isn’t available on their site, but I guess the two MP3s that are there will suffice.
