I Never Thought I’d Be Warm Again

Well, this has officially been one of the strangest and most stressful weeks I’ve had in a long time. On Monday, work and various emotional concerns and anxieties took their toll. Then there was the aforementioned accident on Tuesday. On Thursday, I came out to find my car window shattered.

Normally, that wouldn’t be a huge deal, but we are in the middle of February, and this has been a bitterly cold winter. That night, we played a show, which went really well (thanks to everyone who came out). Of course, I spent the whole night driving all over the city, which left me feeling like I had ice in my veins.

But it’s now a new week, and I’ve started to thaw from the coldness of the previous week. I just got back from Nolan’s birthday celebration… and thought it wasn’t quite the debacle it was last year, there was plenty of shenanigans going on. There’s nothing like singing Ween’s “Blarney Stone” at the top of your lungs with all of your friends… life don’t get much better than that.

If you’ve made it this far, you’re to be rewarded. New album and movie reviews have been posted, as well as a new special feature in the album reviews (inspired by this past Valentine’s Day). Enjoy!
