Have At It

Now that the move to the new server is done, updates can continue at a (somewhat) regular pace. I’ve just added a bunch of album reviews and MP3s, so have at it. I hope to have some new movie reviews in the near future, as I’ve got some stuff on the way that I’m anxious to see.

I just got Volume 2 of His and Her Circumstances, and I’m in love all over again. I adored Volume 1, and this one picks up right where the first left off. On the surface, it seems like pure bubblegum fluff whose target market is most definitely not males in their late 20s. But after just watching 2 episodes, I was amazed at how much depth and sensitivity there is alongside the slapstick humor and, yes, bubblegum fluff. An unexpected delight, and I’m savoring it for all it’s worth.

Heck, it’s the only anime that’s ever got me to sing along with the theme karaoke-style, in Japanese.
