Gondry, Rogen, and Chow = The Green Hornet?

Cinematical is reporting that Michel Gondry will be directing the upcoming remake of The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen and Stephen Chow. I suppose one could get all cynical about Gondry directing a superhero movie — which are becoming a dime a dozen these days, but come on. One of the most inventive and creative directors working today making a film with one of the biggest action/comedy stars in the world (Chow) and one of America’s rising comedy talents (Rogen)? That’s what’s we call a sheer trainwreck of brilliance.
