You know those conversations that you can only have between the hours of 1:00am and 5:00am? Well, I just had a doozy of a one with my roommates. Life, death, religion, heaven, hell, theology, post-modernism… you name it, we probably had a thriving discourse on it. Schaeffer would’ve been proud.

On another note, Denison Witmer played up in Omaha. After this show, I’m surprised that any good bands come to Omaha. Denison was great as always, but the show suffered rather heavily from the dumb-ass factor. In addition to the obnoxious drunks and people making out in the bathroom, a few got into the Halloween spirit early, so we had to contend with princesses, fairies, and Richard Nixon.

On the plus side, the 12 of us there for Witmer got to see him dress down a drunken robot. Ah, it’s the little things in life.
