Encouragement

I spent yesterday afternoon hanging out in Omaha with Joel (Vagrant Cafe) and Kelly. Much fun was had, especially while watching the extreme sports shows from Iceland. Kelly gets bonus points for getting me a Yukon Cornelius pin (and for being the only girl who likes my beard).

I finally picked up Explosions In The Sky and nearly lost control of my car while listening to it… it’s that good.

And at a time when I needed it, I read this, and it brought some comfort.

I forgot to mention this… I also put up my “Favorite Albums of 2001″ list this past weekend. Of course, it’s nearly the same as everyone else’s, so I don’t know if it counts for much.
