Denison and the Drunks

I was unable to go to the Denison Witmer show earlier this week, due to car issues (as in, I’m in the process of buying a new one). However, from what I’ve heard, things didn’t go as smoothly as possible. Once again, it sounds like drunk asses ruined a good show, just like they did the last time Witmer came to Omaha.

Personally, I just don’t see the logic in booking acoustic acts in a bar, especially someone like Witmer, who isn’t really the loudest musician out there (but is still oh so good). But unfortunately, Omaha, like Lincoln, seems to be lacking in venues that don’t also double as watering holes and meat markets.
