Spirited Away, Hayao Miyazaki

I went and saw Spirited Away for the second time tonight (the first was in Chicago during my roadtrip awhile back). Anyways, it’s always a joy seeing a Miyazaki film, and I doubt that a more creative, imaginative film will be released this year in the States.

Afterwards, I spent several hours in an Irish pub discussing movies, travelling, Chicago, and U2 over baked onion soup and a couple of Warsteiners. I got to know a co-worker a little better and met some good people.

All in all, it was probably the most important thing I’ve done all week (and that includes cleaning the bathroom).
