Blood Music’s VirtuaVerse Gets a Release Date
The “cyberpunk point & click adventure” evokes the classic LucasArts and Sierra games of ’80s and ’90s.

Given the fact that Blood Music has made a name for themselves releasing the harsh synthwave of Perturbator, it shouldn’t be too surprising that their first video game delves into a similar cyberpunk-influenced aesthetic. VirtuaVerse, which will be released on May 12, 2020 on Steam, is described as “a cyberpunk point & click adventure narrating tales of technomancers, augmented reality graffiti, epic cyberwars and virtual reality debauchery in a future not so far away.”
Watching the above trailer, or any of the other VirtuaVerse trailers on YouTube, developer Theta Division Games is clearly inspired by the classic LucasArts and Sierra games of ’80s and ’90s, but with a clear rain-soaked, noir-ish Blade Runner vibe, as well.
