“Final Fantasy” Archives

Final Fantasy VII + Synthwave = Nostalgic music goodness.

The recent teaser looks good, but I can’t deny that nostalgia plays a pretty major role in my response.

Also: Technology and dead relatives, Stephen King vs. Stanley Kubrick, midnight movies, creatio ex nihilo, and Ms. Marvel.

Also: Living a life of sacrifice, crazy VHS cover art, ‘Bloom County’ returns, porn gets even sadder in virtual reality, J.R.R. Tolkien discusses marriage, and Flash must die.

Your enjoyment of the film will be almost entirely dependent on how well you knew and enjoyed Final Fantasy VII, the game.
