For more than two decades, this has been Opus’ primary goal: promoting good, true, and beautiful art and culture that might otherwise remain unknown and unappreciated. I love running Opus and I hope to continue doing so for several more decades. However, running a blog read by thousands every month isn’t free.
Because I want your reading experience to be as enjoyable as possible, I don’t run ads or clickbait. However, if you’ve enjoyed reading this site — if you’ve ever found a new favorite band, movie, etc., through my writing — then consider supporting Opus financially. Any contribution will help offset the costs of hosting and maintaining Opus and ensure its continued improvement and existence.
Supporters can receive the following rewards and benefits:
- All supporters will receive a semi-regular email newsletter that offers sneak previews of content that will be posted on Opus in the near future. (Don’t worry, you can unsubscribe at any time.)
- All monthly recurring supporters will also receive a monthly Spotify playlist compiled by yours truly. Each month’s playlist will have a different theme or focus.
- Supporters who give $25/month or more will also be able commission one post on Opus every 12 months. Send me a couple of ideas and I’ll work with you to identify the best one. (Click here for more info about commissioned posts.)
- Supporters who give $50/month or more will also be able to help guide Opus into the future. I’ll occasionally solicit your advice on the site’s content and direction.
Additional rewards and benefits may be added as time and resources allow. Supporters will be notified as necessary when that happens. In any case, I want to make sure that Opus is worth your hard-earned dollars.
Even if you can’t support Opus financially right now, I’d certainly appreciate it if you’d share your favorite articles with your friends via email and social media.
Fine Print: All payments are processed securely via Giveforms and Stripe. You may receive some emails regarding your contribution, and you will be added to the aforementioned Opus newsletter. I will never use your personal information for nefarious, spam-generating purposes.
Want to ensure Opus’ continued existence and get some special perks? Become a supporter today. Contributions help offset the site’s hosting costs.
I've also written for Christ and Pop Culture, ScreenAnarchy, Filmwell, and Christian Research Journal. I pay the bills by creating beautiful user interfaces and websites for Firespring and Red Bicycle.
