Zero what?

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but is anyone as mystified as I am when it comes to the “Zero Tolerance” policies? Have you heard about the kids who got suspended because they were playing “Soldiers and Aliens,” aggressively shooting at each other with their fingers?

Good God… when did normal childhood rambunctiousness become “violent and aggressive behavior”?!? I did that kind of stuff all through grade school, bulding forts, going on raids, and pretending to our favorite G.I. Joe characters. Some pretty fond memories arose out of those “violent” actions.

First we dope kids up on all sorts of medication, and now we subject them to kneejerk regulation that borders on privacy and civil rights violation, not to mention outright hypocrisy.
