Yuen Woo Ping’s Favorite Fight Scenes

Yuen Woo Ping is arguably the world’s greatest fight choreographer, and may be best known here in the States for his work in the Matrix movies. But long before that, he’d had a storied, even legendary career in the Chinese film industry. His latest film, True Legend, came out in the States this week, and to mark the occasion, IFC asked him to look back on all of the fight scenes that he’s choreographed throughout the years and pick his five favorites. (I won’t spoil anything, but I am glad that Iron Monkey made the cut.)
