Weekend Work

Well, the Cornerstone pages are now up and running. Not all of the articles are there yet (I’m still working on all of the interviews), but I thought you’d like to know. Yay me! New reviews will be posted shortly, as well as some other goodies. I’m also working on my “Favorite Albums of 2001” list, which should be up in the next few days.

It doesn’t look like I’ll be having a New Year’s Movie Marathon this year. I didn’t take any time off for the holidays (it sort of slipped my mind) and it’s a little late now. Maybe I’ll do one for my birthday.

I saw The Golden Age and Tie These Hands last night. Both played excellent, though I left a little early. If these bands don’t start getting respect soon, there’s even less justice in Lincoln that I thought. I also saw The Royal Tenenbaums last night. Aside from a few beautiful scenes, the more I think about it, the more I’m disappointed. It’s certainly no Rushmore, that’s for sure. There, how’s that for a movie review.

It’s still a ways off, but there’s an Opus movie in the works. And if you know what’s good for you, go get yourself a copy of A Wish For Wings That Work.
