Watch the trailer for Norway’s The Troll Hunter

I first read about The Troll Hunter a few weeks ago on Twitch, and being the fantasy/mythology fan that I am, I was immediately intrigued — and this recent review only sealed the deal. A movie about a secret government project to keep the reality of Norway’s trolls hidden from the general populace? Couple an intriguing premise with what looked like some impressive effects works, and the movie quickly jumped up higher on my list of “hope to see someday” movies.

All that to say that this recently released English-subtitled trailer doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. The film looks intense, scary, hilarious, and awesome all at once, even with all of the Blair Witch style shaky cam.
