Watch Pittsburgh’s Sleep Experiments Perform an Unrecorded Song

Hopefully, this performance is a sign that new things are coming from the trio; it’s been far too long.

Earlier this year, Pittsburgh’s Sleep Experiments performed a concert for the Sofar Sounds concert series, during which they played a previously unrecorded (as far as I know) song titled “To The Shore.” It’s a lovely piece, full of shimmering guitars, Morgan Stewart’s gorgeous vocals, atmospheric loops, and a natural, modest warmth that typifies Sleep Experiments’ music for me.

Sleep Experiments’ last release was 2012’s self-titled album. Hopefully, this performance is a sign that new things are coming from the trio; it’s been far too long.
