Wired just posted this awesome article about the Matrix sequels spotlighting the technology behind what promise to be some of the coolest effects ever. Why, just the description of the technologies involved start my head a-spinning, and when they discuss Neo’s kung-fu battle with a hundred Agent Smiths…

On a more serious note, they’ve also posted this article, which details a rather disturbing trend concerning our government’s steps to combat terrorism and ensure our “security.” The bureaucracy and red tape involved are so insane it’s almost comical… if it wasn’t so sad.
