This month’s best movies come out tomorrow!

Enough about the Oscars, let’s talk about some real films. Namely, Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbor Totoro and Whisper of the Heart, which are the very definition of “classic.” Of the two, My Neighbor Totoro is the most well-known, possibly one of the most enchanting films ever made. However, Whisper of the Heart might well be the greatest Studio Ghibli film no one’s ever seen. I saw it a couple of years ago, and I’m still overcome when I think about certain scenes.

Both of these movies, along with Howl’s Moving Castle (which admittedly is not my favorite Studio Ghibli film), come out tomorrow (March 7) on DVD. All three films will be released as 2-disc sets with English and Japanese language tracks, subtitles, and various extras and “Behind the Scenes” featurettes — just like all of Disney’s other Studio Ghibli releases.
