Sometimes I think we consider certain things to be inherently spiritual and other things inherently un-spiritual. Or to put it another way, that there are certain things that can’t be as spiritual as, say, Sunday morning worship or communion. But I’d argue that eating steaks and ice cream bars on your front porch with friends is just as spiritual as raising your hands to some manipulative, possibly theologically unsound “praise” song.
