The Best of…

It’s that time of year again, when every critic worth their salt is busy racking their brains and compiling “Year’s Best…” lists. I probably won’t have mine completed until early January (c’mon, the year’s not over, folks!). While you’re waiting for me (with bated breath, I know), check out what everyone has decided.

Jeffrey Overstreet (Looking Closer) has posted his favorites of 2002, as has Aaron. FakeJazz is in the process of compiling their list, and they invite you to join the ruckus.

Entertainment Weekly’s “Best (and Worst) Of 2002″ is fun to go through. And if you’re feeling obscure, Film Threat has the “10 Best And Worst Unseen Films Of 2002″ for your perusal. The Onion’s “Least Essential Albums” list is always a hoot, and this year’s is no exception.

For the misanthropes out there, I offer “The 50 Most Loathsome People In America,” and if you’re a little geeky (or are trying to shop for someone who fits that description), here’s CNet’s “Top 100 Products Of 2002.”
