Stranger Things Mag (RIP)

Stranger Things Mag is shutting down, which is a real shame. I always felt they were a kindred spirit. Opus and Stranger Things have shared content in the past, and Josh (editor in chief) and I have frequented many of the same mailing lists.

Although I’d only read the reviews in the past, I’ve been getting more into their writings, which I’ve found very interesting and provocative. Stranger Things was intent on breaking down barriers between “sacred” and “secular” art, in seeking the wisdom of the Creator in such mundane things as kung fu movies and punk records… and I’d like to think that they succeeded.

In other words… stop reading this and go check out Stranger Things. Spend an hour or two there… you’ll be glad you did.
