Short and Quick

The move is going pretty well. I’m still working on setting up the new “studio,” as well as unpacking all of my CDs, books, and clothes. Hopefuilly, everything will be done by the end of this week.

Up until a 2 – 3 weeks ago, I had planned to be out in Virginia by now, visiting Nolan and Melissa and getting ready to attend Cornerstone NC. Of course, that’s not going to happen now. There’s just too much to do.

Until everything’s settled and I can get some new content on the site (including a review of last week’s Unwed Sailor show), take a look at some of these goodies…

First up, Pitchforkmedia and the newly resurrected Fine Print Mag are both sporting new looks.

The August issue of AnimeFringe is up, with a larger focus on manga this time around. There’s also a nice feature on Japanese horror films, specifically Juon and Audition.

There’s some footage from the new Ghost In The Shell floating around on the web, and it looks sweet. The film isn’t due out until next year, but from the looks of this clip, it’s going to be amazing. Between this and Katsuhiro Otomo’s Steamboy, 2004 promises to be a good year for fans of serious anime.
