Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles is an official sequel to the legendary anime series. It takes place after episode 85 of the series, following the end of the Invid war. The trailer looks decent, despite the obvious use of CGI, but some folks are pointing out the new series will likely deviate from the established Robotech timeline a bit too much for purists.
