Private Eyes

The new Animatrix episode, “A Detective Story,” came out today, and it’s pretty sweet. But what else do you expect from the guy who did Cowboy Bebop? I love the style of this one, with it’s noir-ish, retro look to the architecture and technology. Of course, it does absolutely nothing but whet my appetite for the new movies.

Earlier this week, I picked up Neil Gaiman’s Stardust and read it all in one sitting. I’d read this book a long time ago and had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Even now, days after finishing it, I find myself thumbing through it and reading my favorite parts again. There’s nothing like a good fairy tale, and this is a great one.

I know this is old news, but famous Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung committed suicide earlier this week.

Tonight, the rock descends on the “Opus House.” I can’t wait…
