Paprika Is Coming To Lincoln

Paprika - Satoshi Kon

There are few movies this year that I’m anticipating as much as Paprika, the latest from Satoshi Kon, one of the finest filmmakers working in Japan today (animated or otherwise). I’ve been curious as to whether or not the film would come to Lincoln, or if I’d have to settle for the DVD. However, the Ross comes through once again. Paprika will play for two weeks, starting on July 27, so mark your calendars (and that goes double for any Lincoln otaku out there).

More info, including a plot synopsis, can be found on the Ross’ website — click here. Of course, there’s always the film’s official homepage and the trailer (which might just be my favorite trailer of the year so far).

This isn’t the first time the Ross has brought celebrated anime titles to Lincoln — they’ve previously screened Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence and Cowboy Bebop: The Movie — and I hope it won’t be the last.
