One Person’s Satire

I think LarkNews is one of the best satire websites out there, and the fact that it’s a religious satire makes it all the more enjoyable. I grew up in the Church, and have seen a lot of things that could use a good skewering (attitudes, legalism, reactionary stances, etc.) and LarkNews hits them dead bang. For example, the article about the racy worship CD is a work of genius.

Christianity Today just posted this interview with the guy behind LarkNews, and it’s a pretty interesting read, if only to hear about the response from folks who just don’t get it.

And speaking of satire, here’s a good one: “Satan Reloads The Matrix.”
