Well, actually I’m not. As shocking as this may seem, this is the first time in 8 years that I am not going to the Cornerstone Festival. There are several reasons for this, but to put it succinctly, I think I just needed a break after last year’s draining experience.

But now that the festival is upon us, I find myself feeling a bit nostalgic. As I was laying in bed this morning, I found myself wishing I was on the road with Liz and Melissa, preparing for a week of loud music, dirty cars, sauna-like tents, and Johnny On The Spot’s pungent aroma.

Thankfully, the lovely Liz Root has agreed to cover this year’s fest in my stead, and I look forward to hearing all about it. Chances are, it’ll get me all psyched up for next year’s fest, and we’ll be back in full effect.
