No Scans For You

Well, the RIAA has struck again. Apparently, they aren’t content with just persecuting file-sharing networks like Napster et al. Now, scanning and posting CD covers is wrong according to these morons. I’ve made it pretty clear what I think about these guys. I’m all for protecting artists’ rights and making sure that people get paid for their art, but I don’t see how prohibiting people from posting CD artwork prevents people from getting their money… unless the RIAA is afraid that people are printing out CD covers for their pirated music. I guess when you’re already a little paranoid, you might as well go all the way.
