New Subscriber Playlist: “Vibrations from 47 Years of Life”

Given that I turned 47 this month, it seems only fitting that February’s subscriber playlist, titled “Vibrations from 47 Years of Life,” be a collection of some of my favorite songs from each year in which I’ve been alive. Obviously, I didn’t listen to all of these songs when they originally came out, but for many of them, I can still remember when and where I first heard them. In any case, these songs — in one way or another — help explain the sort of person that I am, and the sort of (better, hopefully) person that I’m becoming.

In this episode, I discuss “Good Cop Bad Cop,” a soulful and heartbreaking blend of pop music and drum n’ bass from Everything but the Girls’ 1996 album, Walking Wounded.
