Movies, Movies, Movies

I’m taking a slight break from the ol’ movie marathon. So far, it’s going pretty well, and expect a bunch of new movie reviews later this week. Since I’m currently in movie mode, here are just a few goodies to toss out.

First off, if you haven’t seen the Kill Bill trailer yet, just go there now. This film will be total genius or it will be utter trash, and either way it’s a “win win” situation.

Second, I was perusing HKFlix, thinking about how to spend money I don’t even have yet, when I noticed their recent addition of a bunch of great samurai movies. If katanas are your thing, you can’t go wrong with these titles (which includes a remastered version of Sword of Doom). And if not, there’s always the “Special Edition” of Avalon.

Third, the new issue of AnimeFringe is on-line, complete with a list of the top 25 anime sites for any otaku out there.

Finally, MonkeyPeaches reports that the video release of Hero will be out on February 20, and comes with additional footage not in the theatrical version.
