More Matrix Stuff

David and I spent a fair amount of time debating The Matrix Reloaded tonight at his going away party. Therefore, it feels a bit ironic that I came across this article (courtesy of Fark), which delves pretty heavily into the sequel’s metaphysics and comes away with some interesting interpretations. Be warned… the article contains a few spoilers, if you care about that sort of thing.

I still have yet to see the film a second time, but I’ve been thinking about it nonstop and am anxious to venture into the theatre a second time. There are definitely a few things that I want to see again, if only because I didn’t quite catch them the first time around.

And yes, David is going away for the summer, to work at a youth camp. And then it’s off to seminary where he’ll try his best to become a pastor without getting tossed out for being so irreverent. Needless to say, I’ll miss him and his sense of inappropriate humor (not to mention his cunning debate skills which always keep me on my toes).
