Microsoft to Mac Users: Stop Using Internet Explorer

Microsoft is advising Mac users to stop using Internet Explorer and start using rival browsers such as Safari. Futhermore, on January 31, 2006, the browser will no longer be available for download from Microsoft’s site. This is very welcome news; although IE for the Mac was definitely the browser to beat back in the day — especially when compared to its Windows counterpart — that day has passed.
