Marionettes

The new Unwed Sailor album, The Marionette and the Music Box, is now available from Burnt Toast Vinyl and Insound.

Of course, if you’re like me and ordered the special hardbound book version, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. I got a chance to hear the band play some of the Marionette material at last year’s Cornerstone, and it was a marked difference than their previous stuff. Much more ambient and cinematic, though it was sort of hard to hear the atmospheric with all of the punk rawk in the air.
