Lost County by Karen Choi

My friend’s latest EP is a good one for fans of soulful, country-tinged singer/songwriter music.

My friend Karen Choi released her Lost County EP today. (It’s also streaming on Spotify et al. but Bandcamp purchases are better for artists.)

If you’re a fan of soulful, country-tinged singer/songwriter music, then I really think you’ll dig these six songs. Personally, I’m partial to the opening track “Hand to Hold” (which also features my friend Nick Dahlquist on guitar, organ, and backing vocals) and I love the subtle tonal shifts in the final moments of “Monarch.”

Related: Karen also contributed a song to Twenty Years and Counting, the compilation album that I released in 2017 to commemorate Opus’ 20th anniversary.
