Don’t worry, all is not quiet in the Lift to Experience camp. While preparing for the new Lift album, frontman Josh Pearson decided to see if he could “shit out a record in 7 days.” The result, due out later this year, will not be the new Lift to Experience album, but a Pearson solo affair (though Andy Young and Josh Browning are playing on it). The band will also be touring throughout the year while preparing for the new Lift album proper. On a related note, Pearson also wrote the opening score for La Vie Nouvelle, which can be found on the film’s original soundtrack. (News gleaned from Bella Union’s Lift page.)
