Jesus hates Obama… but not enough, apparently, to get this ad in the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is just around the corner, and we all know that means: the biggest and boldest television commercials of the year. Oh, and I suppose some football as well. I’m always excited to see what commercials are cooked up by the advertising industry, and to see which ones are destined to be classics, which ones are “meh,” and which ones land in the “what were they thinking” category.

I’d say that this banned commercial falls squarely in the latter category, but I’m pretty sure that the folks behind it knew exactly what they were thinking… which doesn’t make it any less offensive.
