If this isn’t reason enough for jumping up and down with glee, then I don’t know what it. Joy Electric (our favorite purveyor of fine synthpop) has a new song up on MP3.com titled “Parlor Inventor.” Okay, so maybe it’s not all that new… but regardless, it still sounds pretty sweet. It has all of the trademark Joy Electric-isms, with some added spacy flavor and drum n’ bass spice. But don’t take our word for it… listen for yourself.

Some new stuff will be appearing on the site this weekend. I’ll be down in Kansas City this Friday and Saturday for the Unwed Sailor show (just look for the Amish guy), but I’ll be making updates when I get back.
