Happy 10th Birthday, Spaced

I’d be sorely remiss if I didn’t mention something before going to bed that today — Thursday, September 24, 2009 — is the 10th anniversary of Spaced. Others have written more at length of this momentous occasion, and you can find links to their articles in Edgar Wright’s (the director of Spaced) anniversary blog entry.

But I will say this, when asked why I’m wishing a TV show a happy birthday: Spaced was quite instrumental in helping my wife and I understand each other’s personalities a little bit better, back when we first started dating. So for that, have yourself a great birthday, Spaced. And don’t forget to break out the jaffa cakes.
