Green Planet

My copy of Save the Green Planet arrived in the mail earlier this week, courtesy of HKFlix. I watched the first 15 – 20 minutes, and once again I was reminded of this film’s brilliance, and I felt like I was right back there in the Uptown in Toronto, experiencing it for the first time.

It’s been a long time since I’ve found a cinematic gem that I love as much as this one, from its twisted humor and clever plot to its wonderful characters and right on up to the closing credits (which completely destroyed me when I watched them). I can’t wait to show it to my friends this weekend.

Sadly, the DVD is Region 3 only, but if there was ever a reason to invest in a region free DVD player, this movie would definitely be it.
