Girl On The Hill

I just got July Skies’ latest release, the Where The Days Go compilation, and hopefully a review will be forthcoming. In the meantime, swing by July Skies’ MySpace page and check out the new track “Girl On The Hill,” which is taken from their forthcoming full-length The Weather Clock. The song’s as full of shimmery guitars and breathy, reverb-drenched vocals as the rest of July Skies’ music, but it seems a bit warmer and sweeter this time around, as if a few soft rays of light have manage to pierce the nostalgic languor.
