Everything Everywhere All at Once Looks Absolutely Trippy (and I’m Here For It)

The sci-fi film stars Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The filmmaking duo of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as Daniels, first burst onto the scene with 2016’s acclaimed Swiss Army Man, best known for starring Daniel Radcliffe starred as a farting corpse. For their next film, Everything Everywhere All at Once, the duo are tackling the multiverse.

Michelle Yeoh stars as a woman who simply wants to finish her taxes. But that mundane task is complicated when a man who looks like her husband but claims to be from another universe comes seeking her help. What ensues, if the trailer is any indication, is a madcap multiversal journey involving martial arts, googly eyes, and a raccoon.

Everything Everywhere All at Once boasts an impressive cast. You obviously have Michelle Yeoh, who has proven her action and drama chops over and over again. She’s joined with Ke Huy Quan (best known as Data in The Goonies), Jenny Slate, James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Everything Everywhere All at Once will premier at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival, with an official release on March 25, 2022.
