Everyone’s Working for the Weekend

After a crappy week full of anxiety and various panic attacks that could probably be considered the stuff of legend, the weekend is here. Granted, not everything is rosy, but it’s a heckuva lot better than it has been. I’m getting more and more excited for Cornerstone everyday. Getting my press passes and the new S.S. Bountyhunter (whose show at last year’s fest is still talked about in hushed tones of awe) only adds to the anticipation.

Thankfully, this weekend is going to be full of shows, which will keep me out among the people. Otherwise I’d spend hours alone in my room, staring at my computer and working on this little site. Last night was a benefit show chock full of bands (6, to be accurate), including local faves Tie These Hands and Remedy. I also got to see my old friend Chelsey, and meet some new ones. Tonight is all about the metal, with Bright Calm Blue and others.

Rock and roll will never die…
