According to Slicing Up Eyeballs, Elizabeth Fraser (of Cocteau Twins fame) will be releasing a 12″ EP of new music for this year’s Record Store Day on April 23. The music, which will be released under the Sun’s Signature moniker, was recorded with Fraser’s partner Damon Reece (Lupine Howl, Massive Attack, Spiritualized).

The EP, which will be released by Partisan Records, will feature five songs and will be Fraser’s first release since 2009’s “Moses” single. Watch Fraser’s performance of one of the EP’s songs, “Underwater,” from the 2012 Meltdown Festival.

Other artists releasing Record Store Day exclusives this year include Angelo Badalamenti, Everything But the Girl, Prince, The Rain Parade, and Scott Walker. You can view the full list of Record Store Day 2022 releases here.
